CHRISTMAS EVE CLUES HUNT |
|
Since we opened our Christmas presents after church on Chistmas Day, we always let the boys open one present on Christmas Eve. When they got old enough to follow "clue", we used this game to make it more exciting.
Out of colored construction paper, I would cut out about 10 -12 Chistmas tree shapes to write my clues on. Each was numbered so they followed the clues in order. Then I would say something like, "Your first clue can be found where you brush your teeth". They would of course immediately race off to the bathroom to find the next clue by the tooth brushes. I would proceed to send them off all over the house collecting the next clue. Finally, for the last one, I gave them the clue which would end up where their present was. They had so much fun figuring out the clues and running all over the house. As the children get older, the clues can get more complicated.
Have fun with this one!!
